IAPA organized teaching at Sree Balaji Nursing School, MKB Nagar on 28th Feb and 7th March 2009 for 100 students in two batches.

Co-Discoverers of HIV-1 awarded 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine

The Karolinska Institute announced that the two would share the 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine.  French scientist Prof. Francoise Barr’e-Sinoussi of the Regulation of Retroviral Infection Unit, Virology Department, Institute Pasteur, France and Prof. Luc Montagnier, World Foundation for AIDS Research & Prevention Paris, France, Were recognized for their groundbreaking work in uncovering the virus responsible for AIDS, the HIV-1.
